  • Honk Konk

I'm quite angry with Hong Kong. The shopping was quite (no sorry, extremely) terrible. Everything was either too big or too small.. It was very disappointing :(
I fell sick on the second last day (sore throat, headache & flu) I'm still sick though. Imagine, sick on Christmas eve/day.
At least the trip to Cheung Chau Island and the island that our hotel was on was simply delightful! The people rode bicycles and golf buggies, respectively. The air was NOT polluted and I wouldn't mind living there.

Custard was inside this lovely, fluffy bun that looks like a butt.
    Deeliciousss

THE BEST BEEF BALLS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!
at the next table, there were a bunch of mixed guys with this girl and the girl was talking about all things wrong and things that you shouldn't be saying quite so loudly and enthusiastically..
    talk about spoiling the ambiance.

I look quite terrible in all the pictures. Not quite so photogenic I suppose

These Grandmas are soooo cute. One lives on a farm growing her own vegetables.
    How cool is that!

    HOLGA!
I have loads of nice and pretty pictures on them. I just have to develop them (:

    Yumz

Waited quite long for this yummy beancurd-thing-that-i-can't-remember-what-it's-called-in-chinese

Thus ending the Hong Kong trip.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! (:

So, I watched In Her Shoes before. And I don't think it's a particularly good (literally and good in a morally sense) show but hey, who am I to judge. After all, everyone seems to think sleeping with guys and sleeping with your sisters guy is alright. But yes, all in a "moment of folly" isn't it. I have to say though, the older sister (who doesn't seem to have much fashion sense at all) has really cool/pretty shoes and tons of them as that!

Steering back on course. This is what happened this year, after family night..

Ema and Echong's 30th Wedding Anniversary (: The picture flashbacks were so sweet and they were compiled by the cousin on the left. So amazing how they were their first boyfriend and girlfriend. Everybody together now.. AWWW.

Btw, I'm going to have my yearly cup of coffee (the only time I drink coffee) at Starbucks in the airport. Yumm

  • Mem'ries I

I can't believe next year I'm going to be in Secondary Three. It's just going to be like when we just started sec two and we kept saying we were sec one when people asked because time just passed so quickly before we could even grasp it. So this post (also in a moment of boredom) is to relieve the moment/s. See what boredom does to you? I don't even sound like myself anymore..

NeTbAlL cAmP wUz E bEsT wOrHxz. I lUrBs ThE nEtTiEzx. At NiGhT wE uSeD nErInE iPoD tO wAtCh SaW tWo DaMn NiCe SiAh!!!!

That took me 10 minutes to type out. Now I have a new found (glory, haha) admiration for them. To think I used to think this was cool in primary five. "HellO mY NAmE Is aNGeLA" and also those weird signs: O_o and not forgetting the famous "dao/diao" sign: -_-    -_-"
My purpose was not to talk about this but actually about netball camp. But I felt that typing like that was going to be a wonderful adventure so I did just that and WOW, look at what has happened! Exciting.

So yes, netball camp was indeed very fun. I now know that I'm an asshole/prostitute and that I suck at tieti/tyetee/?. At night, Clarissa, Lenny, Sheila and I watched Saw II on Nerine's iPod. Gory but I (think I'm a sadist) think it's really nice. But it got a little confusing so I had to get them, Clarissa and Lenny who have both watched it before, to explain it to me. Games went quite well in my and Nyam's opinion. Anyway, after camp broke, Stephanie, Lenny and I went to Nyam's house to eat lunch! I think her mother has OCD and that her house is really darn nice.

OH AND BY THE WAY, I CAN CRACK MY KNUCKLES, ANKLES, TOES, THE UPPER LEG PART, LOWER BACK, UPPER BACK, WRISTS, KNEES AND COLLAR BONE!
I think I'll grow up with rheumatism and flimsy joints/bones.

By the way, Isabel and Abigail, I don't try and write like whats her name anymore so stop telling me that I'm "copying" her or that I try to be like her even if it's a joke. Everything that happened, happened in secondary one. So lay off. It's getting on my nerves.
    Thanks (:

  • So we love

Youth Camp 2008 was held in church. It wasn't as great as last year but still wonderfully enjoyable. I didn't get to play the games because a) I'm in the comm and unless your group is short of people, you're not to play b) Prisci needed some TLC and c) you know that time of the year when playing water games and sliding on soap is not exactly a good idea? yea. Everyone, say I'm a slob and tell me the truth. I got called fat twice in one day. "You can take some of Angela's fat's to keep you warm" and "Angela, you're horizontally and vertically challenged". Both are said by guys (and they don't usually lie). Can someone please say ouch. Ouch. My egoooooo-ne (geddit? gosh, I'm so funny) Can someone please say funny. Funny.

Can someone tell me why my pictures are soooooo small. You can barely see anyone's faces.

Look at me! I cover Daniel's body so now the only visible thing is his head. Goodness
Youth Comm minus Joel & Leticia

Taken while the groups were out hunting in the park at 2am for ice cream sticks. I swear that they are majorly blind. The sticks can be dangling above their heads or they'll walk pass it (when it's placed so obviously) without noticing it.

Exhibit A (I'm not calling you blind, uncle daniel)

We do this while Amelia is getting a backrub from Auntie Alice to relieve her shoulder muscles of tension. She was screaming & wailing in pain. Poor girl, thank God she's alright now (:

CAPTAIN FOOD! They played captain's "ball" with fruits, butter and last but definitely not the least, raaaaww chicken ya'll!

Here we go, this is buuuuttteeerrrr ball!

Amelia, Yanwen and I couldn't/didn't feel like sleeping so we talked and took pictures at 3am. Good, juicy, yummy stuff.

    ha ha ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I need to go for surgery to put extra bone thingums in my legs to make myself TALLER. I had to tiptoe to reach the hole!

Last night/morning, we stayed up to watch Amazing Grace but in the end, everyone fell asleep because it was around 4am. 12 people crammed into one small room in the Church office.

Now that Church Camp is done, there's still netball camp. I hope I don't bore people to death with the games. Should be fun, hopefully, cross my fingers.

  • I saw somebody famous while sending Willabelle off! Ruth said she saw people holding up signs with "Bosco Wong" written all over them (may I add that she is a fan but didn't know he was coming to Singapore) so, being the Singaporeans we are, we decided to join in the hoard and wait for Bosco Wong, whoever he was. Finally we heard screaming and saw him coming our way. Tried to take photos and would you believe we were close enough to touch him (but of course we didn't). If the Jonas Brothers came, now that would be a different story all together won't it?

Went to terminal three and took photos with Isabel, Willabelle, Ruth, Katherine, Joelle, Sabina and Glenda.

BYE WILLABELLE, I'LL MISS YOU (:
    COME BACK REALLY SOON
AND BTW, I'LL WATCH WHITE CHICKS FOR YOU!!

I thought he was Bosco Wong, I was wrong. Hahaa

I couldn't upload the only full frontal blur picture of him so you'll have to settle for this.

    The *&^%$& pose!

I did something really embarrassing today. I walked into the wrong Learning Lab class. I was wondering why all my classmates had all changed. I felt as if I fell into a 1000 year sleep and woke up and found that everything around had changed drastically. So, my instincts told me to check some girls ticket thing and I found out that I was in a Secondary One class instead of my Secondary Three class. I feel so stupid! Oh goodness, I'm such a joke.

Hello, somebody get me this for Christmas from Forever21 pretty please.
(I've given up on the Beatles Shirt alr)
the same fedora except in plaids/checkered pattern, I mean.
Alternatively, you can get me loads of cheap hairbands and bangles.

  • 'Cause we rock (band)

Went out with Isabel, Glenda, Willabelle and Stacey first to Pepper Lunch at Taka then to Cineleisure to play Guitar Hero World Tour -but they didn't have it so we had to settle for Rock Band- . At first we tried to be real cheapskates and play fooseball (?) with crushed paper instead of purchasing the ball, hilarious. But in the end, it didn't work because I scored and we lost the "ball". So yes, we had to suffer, listening to Willabelle's singing while playing Rock Band. How delightful, hahah.

    No willabelle, you're not cute.

  • Holiday

I'm not officially done with my wonderful holiday in New Zealand but to me, it's kinda over because we're just bumming around in Auckland and not going for anymore road trips. (the purpose was the road trip so I see it as kind of over) I'm going to miss it very much, especially my cousin who I'm guessing, won't see for a very long time. I've even considered migrating (I feel like a bird) like Willabelle except she's going to Australia rather than delightful New Zealand!

So, what sums up my trip would be the generous amounts of mountains, grass, sheep, cows and dead, squashed, runover possums. Lovely, isn't it? More exciting things that I have been doing: skydiving, black water rafting, luge and cycling along the beach.. I'm really glad I went skydiving. Now, I've gotten it off my list of things to do so I won't die in mid air before I can finish my list off, if you know what I mean.

WARNING: EXTREMELY DRY AND UNENTERTAINING PARAGRAPH
Anyways, I want to express my dissapointment with Dark Knight. Maybe it's because people have risen my expectations with all the hollabaloo over it but I found no enjoyment watching it. Other than the Joker of course which I personally found Willabelle's impersonation resembling a close resemblance to him, (sounds weird but nevermind) shockingly/scarily. Firstly, my dull mind cannot seem to comprehend the philosophical questions that the Joker posted and what nots. Secondly, it was in no way entertaining at all and I didn't see what the fuss about it was. Thirdly, it wasn't as gruesome as what I thought it would be. (I'm not a sadist) I know I did, in the beginning sound extremely excited about the show but after I watched it, I found it very much overated. I think I'm just not cut out for all the Marvel Comics shows. (Spiderman did not appeal to me either, I stopped at the first one. I didn't bother watching the Hulk (is it even a marvel comic thingum?). Batman proved to be a dissapointment etc) I've yet to be amazed. I guess I'm more the Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Juno, Bourne kinda movie girl person thing.

    might I add, I LOVE MY COUSINS (: (:
